Reading the mechanic
Sweet Alchemy begins with a five-by-five grid and clusters of four or more matching candies. Winning clusters disappear, allowing symbols above them to drop. Each winning symbol contributes to the Sugar Rush meter described by the provider. [1]
The free round uses a nine-by-nine grid. The larger playing area is an explicit feature change, rather than proof that every expanding-grid game uses the same progression. The provider lists three spells: shuffling candies, adding wilds and removing candies. Each changes the state in a different way. [1]
Collecting two specified candy types can lead to a separate selection bonus. That makes the free-round collection condition different from the ordinary four-symbol cluster rule. The page also describes a treasure-chest rule linked to bonus completions; understanding that feature requires the full game help and its persistence rules. [1]
Take it to the paytable
- Separate the base grid’s cluster threshold from the collection task described in the free round. The same visible candy can have a different role depending on the mode.
- Find the rules for each of the three spells. Shuffling a display, adding substitutes and removing symbols are three different operations.
- Read the treasure-chest accumulation and reset conditions in the actual help. Do not treat its described percentage as a game-wide RTP or as a guaranteed return on a new stake.
