Reading the mechanic
Sugar Rush combines adjoining-symbol clusters with marked grid positions. The provider describes clusters of five or more matching symbols. After a cluster wins, its positions become marked. The memory belongs to the position, rather than to the removed symbol. [1]
Another winning symbol at a marked position during the same spin adds a multiplier. The documented sequence starts at 2× and doubles on subsequent qualifying hits, up to 128×. That sequence is a rule for a position that qualifies repeatedly; it does not promise that a sequence will reach its upper step. [1]
The persistence boundary changes during free spins. In the base game, the description ties the marks to the same spin. In the feature, marks and multipliers last for the entire round. That change in duration explains the mechanic more clearly than simply calling it a multiplier game. [1]
Take it to the paytable
- Identify the event that marks a position, and the later event that creates or raises its multiplier. Those are successive qualifications, rather than one automatic event.
- Compare the base-game reset point with the feature reset point. A persistent position in one mode does not establish persistence after the feature ends.
- Locate the rule for a cluster covering more than one marked position. The individual position limit alone does not explain how every multi-position award is calculated.
