Break a description into claims
Start with a concrete sentence: three scatters initiate ten free spins in Book of Dead. That contains a title, trigger and consequence. It can be checked against the provider’s feature description. “A generous bonus” cannot be verified in the same way because it hides an undefined judgement.
We keep a source ID beside each checked fact and a date beside the review. The source link leads to the original publisher rather than another comparison site. A check date means that the stated material was examined then; it is not a guarantee that the source has remained unchanged.
Preserve conditions and units
A condition can be the most important part of a rule. Book of Dead’s special symbol expands when additional prizes can be awarded, rather than on every appearance. Removing that condition would make the summary shorter and less accurate.
Units also matter. Legacy of Dead’s public description includes a coin-denominated prize. Without the stake and coin context we do not convert that number to a stake multiple or currency amount. The fact table deliberately leaves out what the evidence cannot support.
Make limits and revisions visible
Verified facts, unchecked configuration details and absent availability evidence are different states. Our reference tables show those states in words. A missing value is not a rating. A provider source does not prove that a game is currently offered in your country.
For a correction, send the page URL and the primary evidence to the editorial contact. We recheck the claim, update its source scope and record a material change in the entry’s revision note. This first edition records its initial publication review; it does not invent a history of corrections or imply hands-on play testing.
