Reading the mechanic
Gates of Olympus uses matching-symbol counts across six tumbling reels. The provider describes eight to thirty matching symbols as its award groups, rather than a fixed route from the first reel. A multiplier symbol is a separate part of this structure. [1]
Multiplier symbols can appear in the base game as well as in free spins. The provider gives individual values up to 500×. During the feature, a multiplier on a winning spin contributes to a running total that is applied to the respective win. The qualifying win matters; seeing the symbol is not the whole condition. [1]
Four or more scatters start fifteen free spins. Reading the running total as money already won would be a mistake: a multiplier is an operation on an eligible award. Keep the multiplier display and the award display conceptually separate when following the game rules. [1]
